Who are we ?

The White Rose Organ Society meets fortnightly to enjoy organ music and
friendly company. Our hard-working committee ensures a full program of concerts,
dance nights, trips and parties. We play host to the best of both established and up-and-coming professional organists, and because our concert "season" lasts all year, we get to hear a great variety of top standard musicians. We also have members concerts throughout the year, when those brave enough to "have a go",entertain us in a relaxed atmosphere. Up until January 2012 the society met at Silkstone Lodge, in Silkstone, a village to the west of Barnsley. However, due to refurbishment, the venue has become unavailable at short notice and the society is, as of 24/01/2012 in the process of finding a new home.
